Any ideas for kitchen utensils to encourage independence?

My completely blind son (2 1/2) is becoming more independent (YAYYYY!) and wants to do everyday activities like sighted big brother does. (Vaccum, pick up toys/laundry)...What kitchen tools/utensils do you have and use that allows your kiddo to be helpful and involved? (with supervision of course) also Any tips about independence in the kitchen is welcomed as well.
