Facebook has announced that they will team up with AFB to make their social networking service more accessible to users who are blind or visually impaired.

The new Facebook will be formatted so that it will be easy to use with both screen magnification and screen reading programs. Now if only the entire internet would follow suite!

Yes, Facebook has implemented these changes, although I haven't heard specifically if it's is as accessible as it should be. I'm sure there is always room for improvement!
