NFB Tactile Graphics Conference

The National Federation of the Blind (NFB) is hosting its first conference on tactile graphics. On Friday, April 12th and Saturday, April 13th, 2013 they will offer a two-day-long, in-depth look at how tactile graphics can and are being made, and how tactile graphics enhance STEM education for the blind.

Presentations will cover 3D, 2D, haptics, high tech, low tech, quick and easy tactiles, complex and layered ones - and beyond. Find out how you can use tactiles in classrooms, offices, campuses, and wherever audio simply isn't enough.

The draft agenda is now available at www.nfb.org/tactilegraphicsconference.

The conference will take place in Baltimore Maryland and registration is free! They have secured special hotel rates at the Holiday Inn for convention attendees.
