Announcing the Site of Senses Project
The Janesville Kiwanis Club, in association with Table Innovations Inc., has developed a wonderful new program called the Site of Senses Project. The goal of this project is to bring important developmental equipment to blind and handicapped children free of charge.
The Site of Senses is a completely interactive space in which special needs children can learn about cause and effect, object permanence, tactile discrimination, and other hard-to-learn concepts. What a wonderful resource for parents and caregivers of blind and disabled children!
The project is beginning in Wisconsin with the intent to move nationwide in the near future.
