Stem Cell Therapy

British scientists from the Institute of Ophthalmology at University College London and Moorfields eye hospital are perfecting a new technique using stem cells which they say restores site to people blinded from age-related macular degeneration.

This breakthrough is promising for other causes of blindness as well as stem cell therapies could be translated to other macular and retinal disorders.
