Well, I don’t know! This new book from National Braille Press starts out with a question. What is the title? And what is the book about?
The story is told by a drawing that is in the process of being drawn… by someone. Could it be you? You (and your child) discover what is being drawn just as the drawing discovers it himself! You can play along by feeling the tactile images in the book or by building the image with the magnetic puzzle pieces that are included with the book.
As each piece is drawn in the story, a circle for a head followed by two little loops for ears, your child can place the accompanying pieces on the magnetic board to build the image right along with the story!
The entire book and additional materials are very accessible. The book is in large print and braille and all the images are raised. The book also comes with a full tactile image of the teddy bear (Woops! That was a spoiler, sorry!) plus magnetic wooden puzzle pieces and a magnetic board to place your pieces on. What a fun interactive story book!
