The New York Institute for Special Education serves 300 children with visual, learning and developmental disabilities.

Kentucky School for the Blind (KSB) provides a quality education to all students in Kentucky who are blind or visually impaired. It is based in Louisville.

Located in Baton Rouge, this school’s mission is to provide quality educational programs, prepare students for the future, foster a challenging and rewarding workplace, and provide statewide support services to blind and visually impaired students across Louisiana.

Around since 1853, this private school serves children from infancy to age 21 who are blind or visually impaired, including those with additional disabilities.

Located in Jackson, the Mississippi School for the Blind serves students from kindergarten to graduation. They educate students who are blind, with or without additional disabilities.
